Battle of the Boroughs...an Old School, New School Game Night
Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (EDT)
New York, NY
The New York Urban League Young Professionals invites you to REP YOUR BORO and join us for our 2nd Annual Battle of the Boroughs...an evening of food, fun, and trash talking on Saturday, May 5th at 6pm. Whether you claim Brooklyn, Staten Island, Harlem/Manhattan, the Bronx, or Queens...we want you to throw on your hood's paraphernalia (yes, New Jersey and Long Island are welcome too) and bring your A-game. We'll see which borough holds the title in your favorite old school games like Spades, Monopoly, Connect Four, Dominoes, and Uno. We'll also battle at some new school favorites like Taboo and Wii Sports.
It all goes down in the lounge and rooftop of the Archstone Chelsea, 800 Sixth Avenue (Entrance on W. 27th Street), New York, NY 10001. Appetizers and beverages will be served. Cost: $10 members, $15 non-members. Everyone $20 at the door. Pre-sales end on May 4th at 11:59pm. For questions or additional info, email email@example.com.
